My 8th grade students and I enjoyed every moment of our tour. All of the sites that were pointed out connected to the curriculum that we study in US/NC History. Our guide was very knowledgeable and great with our kids. Definitely will recommend this to friends and other educators.

I really enjoyed the tour. The information was very knowledgeable and interesting. The students who weren't able to see that part of Charlotte before were surprised at what was in that area. I appreciate our guide taking the time to show our group around.

The Uptown Funk Tour was a blast for my students and me! The tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable about Charlotte’s history. It was great for my students to see things and areas we learned about in class up close and personal. Sort of like “putting a face to a name!” I am looking forward to bringing more groups to explore and learn about the history in our backyard!
